Batrafen Solution for Fungal Infections of the Skin 20mlBactrafen solution is a antimycotic and can be used on the skin in the presence of fungal infections."What can I use it for?" Batrafen is used to treat fungal infections of the skin. "What is in it?"Batrafen contains ciclopirox, which is an antifungal agent. Each ml of batrafen contains Ciclopirox Olamine 10mg "How Do I Use It?" Before application of Batrafen Solution, careful washing and drying of the affected area is necessary. Batrafen Solution is applied to the affected are twice daily, and gently rubbed in. "How Long Does It Take To Work?" After the disappearance of the symptoms (Usually within 2 weeks) the solution should be applied for another 1 to 2 weeks, to avoid relapses. "Are there any warnings for precautions?" Do not apply near the eyes. A transient burning sensation of the skin may be caused by the alcohol content. It is important to keep using the solution for the full treatment period to insure that the fungus is completely gone otherwise you risk re infection.
