The sixth step is the final step. You must add 5 drops of the test solution to the designated spot. This is the hole that has a D mark in the test device. What should I do if it yields a positive result? This test is not meant to give a conclusive result. It only provides as indication whether or not the person testing may be allergic to dog dander or dog's skin cells. There may be other factors why the test came out positive and all of these has to be ruled out in a clinical setting for a more conclusive diagnosis. Are there any warnings and precautions?
