Compeed Coldsore PatchesCompeed is a clinically proven healing patch for coldsores. It works by sealing off the infected area so that it can heal and seal in moisture to prevent further blistering, chapping and itching. It works fast and stops cross contamination. Be sure to keep the patch on at all times to support the healing process and prevent chapping and dryness. Apply your first patch at the first sign of an outbreak (you can use at any part of the coldsore process but the sooner you apply the patch, the sooner it can start to work)/ Wash your hands before and after applying the patch to prevent contamination. "How long will the patch last?" The patch should be used for 24 hours a day until your coldsore is healted. Each patch will last around 8 hours after which time a new patch will need to be attached.
