Dimetapp Colour Free Elixir also contains no artificial flavours. Who can use Dimetapp Cold and Allergy Elixir? Adults and Children 2 years and over Do not use Dimetapp Cold and Allergy Elixir for children under 2 years if tamper evident cap seal is broken or missing if you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients "How do I take Dimetapp Cold and Allergy Elixir?" Children 2 to 4 years 4 mL Children 4 to 6 years 5 mL Children 6 to 12 years 7.5 mL Adults and Children over 12 years 10 mL Every 6-8 hours (as necessary) 4 doses in 24 hours May be diluted with water or fruit juice. A measuring cup is included with this product for accurate dose measurement. Also Contains: Sodium benzoate, saccharin sodium, alcohol, sorbitol (16.8g/40mL). Sorbitol may have a laxative effect or cause diarrhoea Caution: If symptoms persist for more than 48 hours, or are accompanied by a high fever, nervousness or dizziness, consult a doctor or pharmacist. Warning: This product may cause drowsiness in some people. If affected, do not drive a vehicle or operate machinery. Avoid alcohol. For precautions and warnings please refer to the carton.
