Flucazole 150 Tablet which is also known as Diflucan is a one dose tablet used to treat Vaginal Thrush, Candadiasis/Yeast Infections.

This is a pharmacist only medicine so you are required to answer a series of questions for our pharmacist to screen before we can fill your order. (this allows our pharmacist to make sure this product is right for your needs).

"How do I take Flucazone/Diflucan?"
  • Take ONE capsule as a single dose. Swallow whole with a glass of water.
  • Can be taken any time of the day, before or after food.
  • Read the instructions on the carton.
"What are the Ingredients in Flucazone/Diflucan?"
  • Flucazole 150 comes in a pack containing one capsule.
  • Each capsule contains 150mg of the active ingredient fluconazole.
  • The capsule also contains lactose, maize starch, sodium lauryl sulphate, colloidal hydrated silica, magnesium stearate, gelatin, and titanium dioxide (E171).
Important Notes

When you must not take it
  • Do not take Flucazole 150 if you have an allergy to the following: any medicine containing fluconazole, medicines related to fluconazole such as miconazole, ketoconazole or clotrimazole.
  • If you are taking cisapride (a medicine used to treat stomach problems), do not take Flucazole 150.
  • Talk to your pharmacist or doctor if you are not sure whether you should take this medicine.
  • Before you take it Tell your pharmacist or doctor if you have allergies to any other medicines, foods, preservatives or dyes.
  • Tell your pharmacist or doctor if you have any other health problems, including: any liver problems any heart problems any kidney problems.
  • Tell your pharmacist or doctor if you are pregnant, plan to become pregnant, or are breastfeeding.
  • Your pharmacist or doctor can discuss with you the risks and benefits involved.  
  • Taking other medicines If you are taking any other medicines, including any you get without a prescription tell your pharmacist or doctor.
Medicines that may interfere with Flucazole 150 include:
  • cisapride (used to treat stomach problems):
  • some medicines used to treat allergies such as terfenadine or astemizole: some medicines for diabetes such as glipizide, tolbutamide or glibenclamide:
  • some antibiotics and antiviral drugs such as rifampicin, rifabutin or zidovudine:
  • some drugs used in problems with the immune system, such as cyclosporin or tacrolimus warfarin (used to stop blood clots) phenytoin (used to treat epilepsy) theophylline (used to treat asthma):
  • some benzodiazepines such as midazolam or triazolam  hydrochlorothiazide (used for treating fluid problems): the contraceptive pill (birth control pill).
Warnings and Precautions:
  • These medicines may be affected by Flucazole 150 or may affect how well it works.You may need different amounts of your medicines, or you may need to take different medicines.
  • This medicine may decrease the effectiveness of some birth control pills.
  • Talk to your pharmacist or doctor about the need for an additional method of contraception while taking Flucazole 150.
  • Your pharmacist or doctor has more information on medicines to be careful with or avoid while taking Flucazole 150.
