Olbas Oil 28mlThere are times when colds and sinuses can ruin our day. Clogged nose, non-stop sneezing and inf lammed sinuses all make us feel uncomfortable. Taking a pill is the simplest way to remedy the situation but we also have to admit it that there will be some side effects.Using the natural remedy like Olbas Oil is an alternative way of providing relief for catarr, colds and sinuses. It is formulated with pure essential oils that originated from Switzerland. Use it as an inhalant to get relieved from clogged nasal passages. You may also use it as a muscle relaxant to relieve muscle pain when you massage it on the affected area. How can using Olbas Oil help me? When used as an inhalant, it can give relief to bronchial and nasal congestion, hay fever and minor infections of the respiratory tract. And when used as a massage oil it can be used to relieve the symptoms of muscular pain and stiffness, including back ache, sciatica, lumbago, fibrositis and rheumatic pain by application to the skin. What are in this product? Active ingredients (w/w): Cajuput oil BPC 18.50%, clove oil BP 0.10%, eucalyptus oil BP 35.45%, juniper berry oil BPC '49 2.70%, menthol BP 4.10%, Dementholised Mint oil BP 35.45%, Wintergreen oil BPC '49 3.70% What is the recommended dosage? As an inhalant, adults and children aged 2 and above should inhale 2 or 3 drops from a tissue. This will help clear painful sinuses and nasal congestion. Parent supervision should be applied when administering very young children. To get relief at night time, you may sprinkle 2 to 3 drops onto tissue and place it inside the pillow case. For children 3 months to 2 years old, please place 1 drop on a tissue and hold close to the nose of the child, without touching it. Allow the child to breath in the vapour. As a night time relief, place one drop on a tissue and place in the room, away from the child's reach. You may also add hot water to the recommended dose and then inhale the vapour and maybe left in the bedroom overnight. Just make sure that the hot water is kept out of reach of children. For use as external rub, please apply using gentle massage pressure to the affected area 3x a day. Are there any warnings and precautions? Olbas oil may cause a stinging sensation if it comes into contact with delicate skin. The effect is not serious and lasts only a short while. If Olbas is accidentally swallowed seek medial advice. If Olbas oil comes into direct contact with the surface of the eye, wash thoroughly and seek medical advice. If you experience any unusual reaction to the product talk to your health care professional and discontinue use. Not suitable for babies under 3 months old.
