Phenergan is a pharmacist only product that is available over the counter without prescription. Phenergan (Promethazine Hydrochloride 25mg) is a long-acting antihistamine for the relief of allergies including:
  • Hayfever
  • Allergic or Itching skin conditions e.g. Eczema, Dermatitis, Hives
  • Allergic reactions due to Insect bites and stings
  • The relief of nasal congestion due to the common Cold.
Active Ingredients:  Promethazine Hydrochloride 25mg

"What is the Phenergan Dosage?"
The adult dose of Phenergan tablets is 1 to 2 tablets as a single dose at bedtime to provide relief for up to 24 hours and minimise daytime drowsiness.

Warnings:
Phenergan tablets are not suitable for children less than 2 years of age.

"What are Phenergan Side Effects?
May cause drowsiness: if affected do not drive a vehicle or machinery.
